We had a lovely meeting here at Nectans Meadow on Sunday 10th May with 11 people in attendance. It was a bit windy, but warmish, 18°C at the hives. We took a look into our largest hive, which we expect to swarm soon. We added 3 bars, as they were clearly overcrowded.

We then took a look at the new hive which Mick has just made, incorporating most of the ideas that Phil Chandler is currently trying out. This was followed by a splendid shared lunch and an opportunity to share ideas and have a good chat.

If anyone is interested in joining the group, do contact us.

Also if anyone in the village spots a swarm this summer, do give us a ring on 01288 331700 and we will endeavour to catch it.
